The joint Admission and Matriculation Board has warned candidates against
coming to the examination hall with personal items other than their e-slips and
Biros.
According to Dr. Beatrice Okorie, head of the Lagos annex of the board, the
instruction was clearly stated on the candidates' e-slips, yet many of them still
came to the hall with their bags and phones and had to be sent back to go and
drop those items.
Also it was discovered that many candidates came to the venue with the wrong
e-slip.
These set of candidates were sent away as well to go and bring the reprinted
e-slip.
“Before the examination commenced, the candidates were supposed to re-print
their e-registration slips because the first one does not contain their centre and
examination numbers. That was why some who did not were told to go and re-
print the correct one,” she said.
