If you want to do well in your exams but you have so much to do that you cannot devote all your time to it, there are ways to get around this. You can study less by simply studying smart.
The whole point of studying is to retain what you have read so it serves you in
an examination.
Below are 5 ways to study smart
1. Study in sessions:
Your ability to retain information diminishes after about 25-30 minutes, so
break it up into multiple, smaller sessions. Reward yourself with fun activities
during your breaks
2. Get in a quiet area:
Don't study where you do anything else. Don't study in your bed, where you
play games (even if it's your computer), or in front of the TV.
3. Quiz yourself:
Study actively with focus on recollection. Quiz yourself and don't just glance
over highlighted notes.
4. Study to teach:
If you can teach it to someone else, you have a solid grasp on the material.
5. Take notes:
Find a note-taking method that works for you and expand on them after your
class lecture to increase retention and understanding

The joint Admission and Matriculation Board has warned candidates against
coming to the examination hall with personal items other than their e-slips and
Biros.
According to Dr. Beatrice Okorie, head of the Lagos annex of the board, the
instruction was clearly stated on the candidates' e-slips, yet many of them still
came to the hall with their bags and phones and had to be sent back to go and
drop those items.
Also it was discovered that many candidates came to the venue with the wrong
e-slip.
These set of candidates were sent away as well to go and bring the reprinted
e-slip.
“Before the examination commenced, the candidates were supposed to re-print
their e-registration slips because the first one does not contain their centre and
examination numbers. That was why some who did not were told to go and re-
print the correct one,” she said.

" A 200level student of banking and finance gave birth to a bouncing baby
boy all by herself without the help of her roommates or friends on the 25th
of February , 2016.
This happened at the female hostel of the university main campus. She
delivered of herself a bouncing baby boy within the early hours of 3am to
4am.
According to a source, she was asleep when she heard some noise. She
discovered that someone has just delivered herself of a baby without any
complications or pain..
she was unable to cut the placenta connecting the child to his mother.
The hostel portress was called who after seeing the incident and couldn’t
do anything about the placenta later called the university school clinic
nurse, who came with some medical equipment and ambulance and later
cut the placenta and then took the child to the ambulance waiting outside
the hostel.
The mother actually walked on her own without any help to the ambulance and then back to the hostel to get a flask of hot water after the school clinicians have seen to her and her baby.
She was later discharged from the hospital that same day around 9am."
